Today is all about looking at growth and can SAP(Super absorbent polymers) support life and grow life.
So I planted the seeds the other day into the SAP and they look like they are beginning to germinate, I'm hoping next week they will show the start of the seeds growing.
The other idea was can SAP support the growth of transplanted plants and luckily outside the mixing room window has a beautiful array of ferns and other plants.
I collected a selection of plants and planted them into a nutrients rich SAP, now to watch and waiting to see if they take root (fingers crossed, actually I'm crossing everything).
If this does work I had a strange idea the other day could we add a layer of the SAP to the surface to allow for initial growth and then the roots would go inside the concrete for more nutrients.
