Its a Sunday and I'm in university, its great so quite …..bliss.
So today I took the concrete samples and placed the growth gel on the surface, I think it looks like a terrine.
This is the two different pour structures that we are dealing with.
The ideas:
First transplanting a variety of sedum onto the concrete surface with the gel.
Second was adding the seeds directly to the gel surface and growing onto the concrete directly.
Thirdly was another transplant, but all of these were grown in growth gel and then transplanted onto the concrete.
Fourthly, a hybrid of previous work as the gel seems to dissipate through the pours, so I used a dissolvable element under the gel to keep it in place until the roots had taken hold.
Fingers crossed...…
Also I have started monitoring the temperature as the last weeks have been sooo hot
